The Tandem Between Web Designing and Web Development

The term web design refers to the skill of creating wonderful presentations of the content, which would be of hypertext or hypermedia, and get them delivered to the user. All this activity of web designing is done via the means of various kinds of software such as a Web browser, Internet television, RSS readers or even a microblogging client.
The main objective of web designing is to market a web site. The term web site refers to a collection of all those electronic files that exist over the web-servers. These web sites have content and a set of interactive interfaces aimed towards the end-user. These interfaces are in the garb of Web pages that are demanded by the users.
A web page has elements present on to it such as bit-mapped images, text, that is positioned over the pages using languages like HTML, XHTML and XML tags. There are several more multifaceted media elements also like animations, vector graphics, sounds and videos. These media elements in turn require plug-ins like QuickTime, Flash, Java run-time environment and many more.
To know more about web designing, the web pages are categorized into two parts. The two categories are static web page and dynamic web page.
A static web page does not change either its content or a layout. This kind of a web page is immune for change to every kind of request. The only way to change the content of a static web site is to get the indulgence of a web-master or a human programmer who is actually capable of updating the web page.
The dynamic kinds of web pages are able to adapt to their contents and appearances. Their adaptation depends upon the user’s input as well as interaction that happen within the computing environment. The computing time here refers to factors such as its user, database changes, time etc. The contents of a dynamic web site can be subjected to changes over to the user’s computer.
At this point it is important to know the basic difference between web designing and web development. While web designing means graphic designing for the purpose of styling and development of objects related to Internet’s environment, the process of designing (of web based pages, sites, applications etc ) utilize multiple disciplines. These disciplines imply at faculties like animation, communication designing, authoring, graphic design, interaction of human and computer etc.
There is wide and vast growth of specialization that establishes communication between the designing and various fields of information technology. There are some cautions that need to be taken by the web designers and the web developers in respect to the SEO.
Don’t put a huge banner image on the homepage as it makes it difficult for spiders to keep a follow up of the link.
Don’t care much what a search engine knows about the web site of yours. Remember that the internal pages of your site will not appear in the search engine index if there is no proper linkage to the internal pages.
