SingNet’s IPTV

By xaby | June 6, 2007

SingTel’s answer to Starhub’s Cable TV, I really wonder what kind content will there be for the consumers. With a population of only 4.4 million, small private sector (*winks) the magical question before we talk about all these technological breakdown and value add to our digital lifestyle is: WHERE ARE THE CONTENT PROVIDER FOR SINGAPOREANS? :P

Speaking of content (for Singaporeans), what happened to all the 3G hype? Well, I have a 3G SIM card myself (but not a 3G phone) and I still don’t see people video conferencing on the streets… do you?

Well, let’s all wait and see. In the meantime, check out Joost:
Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.
