Well, we started this for a few reasons:
1. Track down the what’s in and what’s not on the Internet (everything happens really fast on the NET) and use this as some sort of archive?
2. Share with other users who are interested in Internet Technologies, trends, what could be the next BIG thing etc
3. Improve our search engine ranking
And of course, what better way to do this apart from blogging this down?
First and foremost, we chose wordpress simply because when I was asking around for an open source blogging software, 10/10 recommended this. And here we go, based on word-of-mouth recommendation, we installed, customised and use this without evaluating other blogging software.
